What’s Covered Under the Kia Soul Warranty?
The 2019 Kia Soul attracts drivers with impressive interior dimensions, eye-catching exterior style, and forward-thinking features, and the Kia Soul warranty ensures you get all that while still enjoying fantastic coverage. You’ll enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing your new compact crossover is well protected.
What is the Kia Basic Warranty?
The Kia Soul boasts a basic warranty that covers all components for 60 months/60,000 miles (whichever comes first). It’s a limited Kia bumper-to-bumper warranty that excludes wear or maintenance items from cover.
What is the Kia Powertrain Warranty?
When your basic warranty expires, the Kia powertrain warranty kicks in to cover certain parts of your new Kia Soul’s powertrain, minus wear and maintenance. It’s active for up to 120 months or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first).
The following items are covered under your Kia Soul powertrain warranty.
- Engine Parts: Cylinder block, cylinder head and internal parts, timing gear, seals and gaskets, valve cover, flywheel, oil pump, water pump, and turbocharger.
- Transaxle: Transmission case and internal parts, torque converter, drive shafts, universal joints, front hubs, bearings, seals, and gaskets.
- Axles: Axle shafts and C-V joints, seals, hub and wheel bearings.
- Transmission: Transmission case, transfer case, torque converter and internal parts, seals, and gaskets.
- Differentials: Front and rear differential assemblies, cases, internal parts, seals, and gaskets.
- Propeller Shafts: Drive shafts and universal joints.
Is My Kia Warranty Transferable?
Having a transferable warranty allows your vehicle to retain value, so you can demand a higher asking price from the buyer. Should you choose to part with your Kia Soul, any remaining months or miles on the Kia warranty is transferable. The only Kia Warranty that isn’t transferrable is the 120-month/100,000-mile powertrain warranty.
